| Additional Information: | This 2 story homestead residence has colonial revival details and clapboard exterior fabric. The plan is rectangular. The gable roof has the gable end facing the road. There are fishscales and a square window in the gable. Wide wood window frames have an entablature head. The full front porch has a hip roof and round columns with capitals. A four pane picture window is under the porch. There is a box cornice, endboards and a plain frieze under the eave. This house has retained its architectural integrity. It is a good example of the plain homestead style, however, it has no characteristics that would make it architecturally significant. |
