This building is named after Don Goodrich, who moved from Pepin, Wisconsin to Menomonie with his wife in 1925. Goodrich ran a prosperous business called Goodrich Furniture Store in this building for many years. Other businesses also shared this space with Goodrich: Kathyrn Wehrle ran a ladies hat shop, while Peter Rudiger ran a radio shop in the basement. In the 1940s, Fran Hickey, Minnie Buss, and Ann Moe operated the Trio Shop out of this building, which featured ladies' ready-to-wear and accessories.

This building currently houses the Visitor's Center for Downtown Menomonie. -Downtown Dispatch, Downtown Menomonie, January 2019.
