Additional Information: RETURNED EAVES AND A CLASSICALLY DETAILED ENTRANCE CHARACTERIZE THIS TWO-STORY, L-PLAN GREEK REVIVAL RESIDENCE. THE INTENSIVE SURVEY FOUND THE HOUSE TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE WEST END OF THE BUILDING COULD POSSIBLY BE AN ADDITION. THE HOUSE STANDS ON A LARGE CORNER LOT.

HISTORICAL STATEMENT:
THE 1895 PLAT BOOK "APPEARS" TO LOCATE THIS RESIDENCE ON THE PROPERTY OF JOHN WILLIS. (THE PLAT BOOK CONTAINS NEITHER ADDRESSES NOR LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS. ALSO, SEVERAL STREETS ARE NOT INDICATED; THIS THE IDENTIFICATION OF WILLIS AS OWNER IS A "GOOD GUESS"). (B). THE CITY DIRECTORY OF 1898 RECORDED R. C. WILLIS, STOCKBUYER, AT 617 BEETOWN ROAD. (C).
(NOTE: HOUSE NUMBERS HAVE BEEN CHANGED SINCE THE TURN OF THE CENTURY).

THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT PRIOR TO 1875 AND SINCE IT WAS FIRST SURVEYED IN 1983 IT HAS BEE RESIDED IN VINYL.
