| Additional Information: | A one and a half story clapboard and shingle residence distinguished by a corner bay window. The small entrance porch replaced a veranda. According to the 1880-1888 city directories, the entire Wolf family lived at this address. In 1888 Victor Wolf moved to the neighboring structure, 309 Wisconsin St. (33/32 - the address is first listed as 307 Wisconsin St.) and from that time to 1931 John C. Wolf is the occupant. John Wolf, the son of Victor Wolf, entered his father's bus business in 1874 and became proprietor of the line in 1901. In later years, Wolf was the treasurer of the Wolf-Pepper Transfer and Storage Company. |
