| Additional Information: | Three similar one story brick commercial structure which were extensively remodeled in the 1940's (see assessor's cards). Panels of patterned brickwork above the storefront area provide decorative detail. These three buildings have housed a variety of business establishments, including a drugstore, jewelry store, and confectionary. In 1908 a saloon and billiard parlor operated by Hector Mayhew was located at 411-413 Water Street. A watchmaker, Jens Galtheen, was located next door at 415 Water Street. 1997-severely altered. |
