Additional Information:One of five similarly designed residences on this block of Hudson Street (see 416, 421, 425, and 429 Hudson Street). These homes, constructed at the turn of the century, are vernacular versions of the popular Queen Anne style. This particular residence (it is identical to its neighbor, 421 Hudson Street, 24/8) is a two story clapboard dwelling characterized by multiple shingle-covered gables, a two story bay window, and a veranda featuring a spindle valance and balustrade.
