| Additional Information: | This symmetrically composed, two-story hip-roofed house would generally be referred to as Colonial Revival in style. However, it is actually based on the designs of American houses from the early, post-colonial era around 1800, which is known as the Federal period. Topping off the small central, wooden front porch is an impressive, standing seam copper roof that is gently curved or canted to reflect the designs of Federal style houses. The exterior of the house remains in excellent, unaltered condition, excepting a modest dinette addition at the rear dating to 1949. |
