| Additional Information: | Surveyed in 2024 as part of WisDOT National Avenue project. This Ranch house was built in 1956. It is rectangular in plan with a side gabled roof. The eastern portion of the northwest (front) elevation projects slightly with a front gabled roof. This portion is clad in brick and contains a single light fixed picture window. The projecting gable forms a small overhang above the front door, and a concrete stoop with metal railings is located at the door. The remainder of the front elevation has a brick half wall with vertical wood cladding above. A pair of one-over-one metal double hung windows is located west of the door, and two similar windows turn the corner of the front elevation. The gable end elevations are clad in wide clapboard. The roof has wood eaves and an asphalt shingle roof. The house is one of several houses nearby that were constructed as part of the Wildwood Development subdivision between 1955 and 1957. These houses share a similar plan and massing and vary only in cladding materials, window types, and decorative detailing. |
