| Additional Information: | This 1-story Minimal Traditional house was constructed c.1950. It is rectangular in plan with a concrete block foundation, aluminum siding, and an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in composition with an arrangement of nesting gables consisting of a larger gable projecting from the northern half of the front roof slope and a smaller gable projecting from the southern end of this; the smaller gable shelters a small entry porch with paired wood post supports and turned wood railings. Inside the porch is a single door with a classical surround (fluted pilasters capped by a simple entablature). The walls below each gable are clad in T1-11 and board-and-batten. Double-hung windows on each side of the entry are obscured by heavy foliage growing against the front wall of the house. |
