| Additional Information: | 2023: Six utilitarian, metal T-Hangars are on the Airport property, three of which are of historic age. The hangars are all located west of the Administration Building. Despite the 42 years between the earliest and newest of these hangars, each is nearly identical and will therefore share one description. Hangar build dates are as follows: Metal T-Hangars 1 and 2, 1945; Metal T-Hangar 3, 1946; Metal T-Hangars 4-6, 1987. The hangars are constructed of corrugated metal on a rectangular plan with side-gable metal roofs. They feature evenly spaced hangar bays on the east and west elevations with overhead hangar doors. Each hangar door is also outfitted with a metal entryway door to provide pedestrian access without raising the hangar door. Each hangar bay is available for rent through the County to be used by the public. |
