| Additional Information: | This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation, asbestos siding, and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof with prominent gables on each side. The front elevation faces southeast and is asymmetrical in composition with a front-gabled entry porch across the northern half of the façade. The wall under the porch gable is clad in patterned wood shingles (alternating bands of diamond and fish-scale). The porch supports and railings appear to be recent replacements and are standardized squared lumber. Within the porch is a glazed door (featuring a single-light-and-border pattern) with a wood frame. South of the porch is a single-pane window at the first story and a 1-over-1 window at the second story. A cutaway bay at the south corner of the façade contains single 1-over-1 windows at the first and second stories with decorative brackets above the second-story window. A gablet at the north end of the front roof slope is clad in patterned wood shingles (alternating bands of diamond and fish-scale) with a square, single-pane window at its center. All windows feature modest wood surrounds with decorative trim across the crown. |
