| Additional Information: | "The Murphy Estate was built in the late 1920's by Ed Kelly, then mayor of Chicago, Illinois and later sold to the Murphy family. The main home and boathouse are of the classic 1920's summer home architecture featuring huge lakeside windows to capture lake views and breathtaking sunsets. Hollywood came to Wisconsin's North Woods and the Eagle River area when the movie "Omen II" was filmed here. The property can clearly be identified in the movie! The estate is now owned by a Fox Valley family." Boathouses of Vilas County Eagle River, not dated. |
