| Additional Information: | Surveyed 2020 by HRL for an Amtrak project.... Four short spans that appear to utilize three previously used piers carry this bridge across a small, unnamed body of water. The structure is anchored by concrete abutments on each shore. The bridge may well have been constructed in the circa 1970 period. Tracks are carried by heavy concrete beams. In fact both the beams and abutments have newer concrete components that may well have repaired deficient concrete as well as added mass to the structure. Unique to this bridge are the twelve, small "I" beams that project to the south and that carry a small pedestrian (i.e., railway worker) walkway. |
