NOTES
Additional Information:2016- "Rising from a rock-faced, concrete-block foundation, this two-and-one-half-story, clipped gable duplex is sheathed with stucco. An open front porch with battered wooden piers on rock-faced concrete block posts is located along the north third of the building and shelters the entrances to both levels. A slightly projecting rectangular bay is located south of the porch and includes four, three-over-one-light sash. Another quadruple window arrangement is located directly above that and along the second floor, while a single door provides access to the small, second-floor porch with wooden railing. A pair of three-over-one light sash occupies the clipped gabled peak. Windows throughout the remainder of the house are regularly arranged singly, in pairs and groupings of four.

This duplex was built in 1925 by J.W. Jungbluth at an approximate cost of $8,500. The first known occupants of which were Carl and Marie Pape (both of whom were teachers at a church school) and Aloysius Ott. The Papes, who are identified as the home’s owner by no later than 1940, remained in the duplex through at least 1950. The upper-flat occupant had changed by no later than 1931, with the Leipold Kordas family residing there from at least 1940 through 1950. The next known owner was Oskar Aldinger."
