May 2001-This Queen Anne house was erected for J. F. Scott in 1896. It is two stories tall, clad with clapboards and set on a fieldstone foundation. The Scott House exhibits a boxy form with a front facing gable. The hip and gable roofs are surfaced with asphalt shingles. The Scott House features a full façade, shed roofed, front porch with Eastlake turned posts, balustrades with turned balusters and a pediment ornamented with floral and spindled decorations. Shingling appears in the gable ends and the window surrounds display simple, cornice window heads. The windows are 1/1, double hung sash.
