It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2023 The Harvey and Betty Sanford House was a speculative house constructed by Robert P. Schaetz in 1963 and advertised as an “authentic Colonial beauty” in the Green Bay Press-Gazette. It is a two-story single-family dwelling with an attached garage integrated into the main volume of the side-gabled sub-type of the Colonial Revival style popularized in the mid-twentieth century. The side-gabled house is rectangular in plan consisting of a two-story living space and a one-story front-facing attached garage. It is clad in red brick veneer that has recently been painted white; the slightly projecting upper story is clad in vinyl siding. The entrance is slightly recessed into the house below a narrow, shed roof porch. The windows are six-over-six double hung vinyl sash windows that are placed in pairs and in a band of four. Exterior brick chimneys are attached to the west and east facing side elevation. |
