| Additional Information: | One-story Contemporary-style house with an L-plan and a flat roof. The house is clad in original wide-lap clapboard with concrete block and features wide overhanging eaves, a thick cornice line, a wide exterior brick chimney on the facade, bands of elevated sliding windows, a deemphasized entry along the wing near the junction with the ell, and an integrated basement-level two-car garage. The permit identifies that the house was constructed for William K. Ackermann by Leo Jenness. The house conforms with Erdman's Model C U-Form-It plan, which was first introduced in 1954. |
