Additional Information:SCROLL CUT BRACKETS AT WIDE MOULDED EAVES. MOULDED LINTELS. PORCH W/ MOULDED EAVES AND SUNBURST MOTIF IN PEDIMENT OVER ENTRANCE. REAR 1 STORY WING. THE TIM O'CONNOR HOUSE IS SIGNIFICANT UNDER CRITERION C AS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF ITALINATE STYLE RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE IN MERRILL, AND AS A CONTRIBUTING RESOURCE IN THE EAST THIRD STREET RESIDENTIAL HISTORIC DISTRICT. AS EARLY AS 1900 LUMBERMAN TIM O'CONNOR WAS LISTED AT THIS ADDRESS. BY 1915 HIS WIFE PRUE WAS LISTED AS A WIDOW. THEN, BY 1930 TIM AND PRUE O'CONNOR'S THREE ADULT DAUGHTERS, BELLE, ELSIE AND RUTH, WERE LISTED AS RESIDENT. IN 1945 BELLE (BY THEN PRINCIPAL OF LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL) AND ELSIE (SECRETERY OF MERRILL CEMETERY ASSOCAITION) WERE LISTED AT THIS ADDRESS.
