It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2011- "This 2-story farmhouse was constructed c.1875. The house is irregular in plan with an un-coursed fieldstone foundation, clapboard siding, and an asphalt-shingled side-gable roof. The house consists of two 2-story building masses: a large side-gabled, front building mass and a secondary, gable-roofed, rear building mass with a shed-roofed projection on the north side. The front elevation faces west and is symmetrical in plan with a central doorway accessed via a concrete stoop with metal railings on each side. On each side of the door is a 2-over-2 double-hung window; their placement is mirrored by 2-over-2 double-hung windows at the second story. Windows throughout the main side-gabled building mass have simple wooden surrounds with simple wooden crowns." - "CTH M, Cross Country Rd to Prairie Hill Rd", WisDOT ID #5992-09-81, Prepared by Gail Klein (2011). |
