Greenfield Park was purchased by the county in 1921, and by 1936 the park encompassed 278 acres. The park has a modern swimming pool complex, completed in 1997, volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, soccer field, picnic areas, and a large lagoon. Paved and earthen pedestrian paths are located throughout the park and around the lagoon. Parking areas are also paved. Deciduous and coniferous trees are located throughout the park. Greenfield Park also has a golf course located to the north of the park area. Greenfield Park is included as part of the Milwaukee County Parkway System.
