Additional Information:This one story astylistic utilitarian building features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stucco covered foundation, a stucco exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled, multi-gable roof. The diminutive service station has in the center of the main roof a peaked gable with a circular window in its open end. The building, which in 1982, was is in poor condition, was owned that same year by Robert E. Hedgecock in 1981. Hedgecock lived at 606 South Locust Street in Janesville.

The Arthur O'Donnell Standard Oil Station, which was built in c. 1923 (See Bib. Ref. A, B, C), is architecturally significant in that it is a visual landmark in the area.
