| Additional Information: | 2006- This two-story, side-gabled, brick residence has a one-story, brick wing on the primary (south) facade. This elevation also features two, gabled wall dormers and a brick, one-story, one-bay gabled entrance porch. The wing contains a tall, tripartite window topped with a fanlight. Window openings predominantly feature paired, leaded-glass, double-hung windows resting on limestone sills. The wall dormers are an exception as they contain paired, three-over-one, double-hung wooden sash windows. Also located on the property is a one-and-one-half-story, frame carriage barn that has a large, shed-roof dormer on the primary (south) elevation. Constructed in 1931, the first known occupants of the subject residence were printer Joseph Clark and his wife Eva in 1938. Sometime following 1942, Nicholas & Ida Lehr and Frank & Marion Susek lived in the home. Nicholas Lehr worked as a chemist with Weschler Malt, while Frank Susek alternatively worked in the F. Susek & Son Machine Shop and the stockroom of Armour Packing. -"I-94" WisDOT ID #1030-20-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd (McQuillen) (2006). |
