| Additional Information: | This two-story, house features decorative wood shingles, cutaway bay, and recessed porches. Windows are a combination of fixed with leaded glass headers and one-over-one double-hung sash. Windows display the original soldier course lintels and red stone sills. The facade features two shed roof porches supported by simple columns. DAIRY BARN (c. 1900), 2-CONCRETE STAVE SILOS )c. 1920), MODERN POLE BLDG. 2022: This farmstead features a two-and-one-half-story, cross-gable house constructed c.1900. It is of cut stone masonry construction, with a rectangular plan on a stone foundation. The roof is covered with asphalt shingles with an interior brick chimney and features decorative scalloped shingles and a square fixed window in each gable peak. Each elevation features a two-story cutaway bay window set into the cross gable. Windows are a combination of fixed with leaded glass headers and replacement, one-over-one, double-hung sash. First-story windows are adorned with flat brick lintels and stone sills. The front (west) facade features two shed-roof entryway porches supported by Tuscan columns. A one-story, shed addition and wood deck are built off the rear (east) elevation. Southeast of the house is a c.1900 raised dairy barn with two c.1920 concrete stave silos. Located northeast of the house is a modern pole building and a modern brick masonry vehicle storage warehouse. |
