| Additional Information: | This clapboard, one-and-half story cubed house, rises from a fieldstone foundation and is topped by a hipped pyramidal roof covered with asphalt (1910s). The front façade (west) features a wood and glass (broken) door situated to the left and two windows a large fixed window topped with an awning and a one-over-one sash to the right. A hipped dormer rises from the roof, and remaining windows are one-over-one sashes.Additional buildings on the property include; front-gabled tongue and groove shed, topped by wooden shingles (1920¿s) front-gabled (east) wood building purchased from the CCC and moved to the property about fifty years ago (c.1935 two-story modern home built in about twenty years ago further away (west) of CTH S (1980s).The house first appears on the property in 1914 according to plat maps, under ownership of J. F. Bushman. |
