| Additional Information: | June 2001-This two story frame house represents the Queen Anne/Colonial Revival transition and was constructed c. 1905. The house is gable-ell in form and finished with narrow clapboards. The front facing gable features a polygonal bay window, cornice boards with returned eaves and brackets, and bargeboards. A shed-roofed front porch is tucked into the ell and displays Doric columns and a railing with turned balusters. A front-gabled dormer with returned eaves and a balustrade sits on the porch roof. The windows are 1/1 double hung sash. Several of the windows have leaded glass in the upper sash. Statement of Significance: According to the Sanborn maps, this house was erected after 1902. |
