| Additional Information: | January 2002-This one and one-half story vernacular dwelling was constructed c. 1915. It is of frame construction, sheathed in clapboard, and rests on a stone foundation. It displays box-like massing. The roof is a truncated hip form with front-facing gables located on the north, east, and west facades. A hip roof porch is located across the front façade, supported by Doric columns. The windows display simple wood hoods and have all been replaced. Decorative shutters have been added. Statement of Significance: This property was evaluated for the NRHP for Criterion C. It lacks sufficient architectural interest to qualify for listing on the NRHP under Criterion C. No evidence was found to suggest that the house qualifies for the NRHP under Criterion A or B. A DOE is not recommended. |
