| Additional Information: | 2001- "Rising from a rock-face, concrete block foundation, this two-story, cream brick, front gable residence is sheathed with composition siding in the gable peak. The house includes a two-story porch with square balusters and brick piers that support Tuscan columns. Segmental-arched window openings include soldier brick lintels and masonry sills. Windows appear to be one-over-one, double-hung, wooden sashes. A 1902 building permit states that H. Hibbard was the property owner of this residence, designed by the locally notable architectural firm of Leenhouts & Guthrie. Local builder John Erickstaedt and carpenter Henry Roeming constructed this two-family dwelling, which originally measured 29' by 40' and cost $3,000. No further ownership information was available prior to 1950." - "Marquette Interchange, Milwaukee", WisDOT ID #1060-05-02, Prepared by Heritage Research (McQuillen) (2001). 2020 - I-94 Supplemental Survey - WisDOT ID #1060-27-01: Not resurveyed in 2012 due to loss of integrity. Little or no change since then. Update photo. |
