| Additional Information: | 2023: Resurveyed for the Franklin Street - W. Green Bay Street Residential Historic District DOE. The N.M. Howe House is a two-and-a-half-story American Foursquare style house that was constructed in 1913. The house has a square footprint resting on a stone foundation, with walls clad in clapboard siding, and is covered by a hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves and dormers on the north, east, and west roof slopes. The façade (north elevation) has a full-width porch sheltered by a shallow hipped roof, supported by an arched balustrade. Fenestration is primarily five-over-one, wood sash, double hung windows with additional Palladian windows. |
