| Additional Information: | ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Relatively unaltered late nineteenth century frame vernacular residence. The shaped lintels on the windows are the only decorative elements. Similar frame houses similar to this one were built in Milwaukee from the late 1870's to the first decade of the twentieth century. Thus, although the tax program dates this house from 1898, it is hard to verify the date of this house and others like it, because they often lack building permits or were not in areas covered by Sanborn maps. No original building permit on file in Milwaukee City Hall. 3-27-79. Construction date, 1898. (1) 2021: Not resurveyed, reconfigured facade, replacement siding, replacement windows.
