It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. STONE LINTELS. ROUND ARCHED ORNAMENT ABOVE ENTRY. ENGAGED COLUMNS. GARLANDED FRIEZE. The land for the library and a sum of money for a library was donated by Col. William Matheson in memory of his parents. The original builidng was dedicated in 1930. An addition was made in 1990. Previously surveyed in 1999. A second addition was made to the library, this one along N. Wisconsin Avenue, in 2004.
