Summary
Built between 1850 and 1899, this district includes nine buildings on the south end of North Main Street and a block-long section of historic brick paving on East Wall Street. The commercial neighborhood includes structures built in Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, and Commercial Vernacular styles that were the location of small businesses. Business owners commonly lived above their stores.
