This map of the entire state of Wisconsin depicts the township survey grid and identifies counties, named towns, cities and villages, rivers, lakes, railroads, roads, and the Menomonee, Oneida, and Chippewa reservations. Horicon Marsh is labeled Horicon Lake. Both Green Lake and Pepin counties are shown and Barron County is labeled Dallas County. Manuscript annotations of red circles are not explained.
