Standing on the hood of the car in a striped short-sleeved shirt and sunglasses is Salvador Sanchez, an organizer for Obreros Unidos (United Workers), a Wisconsin migrant farm workers' union. Behind Sanchez to his left is Jesus Salas, the leader of Obreros Unidos, wearing a black jacket. There is a group of female supporters seated in a row on a fence and a nun standing  behind Salas and Sanchez.
