Map of Wisconsin and a portion of Minnesota showing the township surveys in progress in portions of the Saint Croix River region and in central Wisconsin along the Fourth Principal Meridian. Much of northern Wisconsin and all of the Menominee Indian and the Oneida Indians lands remain un-surveyed. Surveys have been completed in the area south and east of the Wisconsin and Fox rivers. The map shows the location of Fort Snelling and the town of Paririe Du Chien. The approximate scale of the map is 1:1,140,480 (18 miles to an inch). |
