Hand-colored maps and a series of geological cross sections of the Mississippi River between the Falls of St. Anthony and the mouth of the Wisconsin River and the mouth of the Wisconsin River as well as of the Wisconsin River from its mouth to Whitney's Rapids, the site of present day Nekoosa. The cross sections provide detail regarding the depth of the geological composition. The vertical scale of the map is 100 feet to ½ inch. |
