The original negative number suggests that this photo shows the McCormick Twine Mill in Chicago. However, an early print was filed in a company photo album devoted to the Osborne Twine Mill in Auburn New York. The text on the reverse of Copy 3 reads, "Front of Finisher. Agency: City Office." |
