Original caption reads "No. 31 BW West Coast Special Harvester Thresher with pick-up attachment pulled by F-20 Farmall in baby lima beans. Owned by R.C. Anderson, Vernalis, California, who operates 700 acre farm and last year harvested 1,700 acres of flax with his new 31-RW and probably 700-800 acres of beans. Shown on farm owned by Glenn Allard, who had 200 acres in beans . . . left to right are shown G.M. Conway, blockman, San Francisco general line branch; W.E. Lyons of Lyons Implement Company, Tracy, California; R.C Anderson (see above), and Floyd Davis and L.C. Simmons, Service men employed by Mr. Lyons."
