See online catalog. Ada Lois James (Papers of) Richland Center, Wisconsin. Ada James was active in the suffrage movement as president of the Political Equality League, and a member of the Wisconsin Woman's Suffrage Association and of the National Woman's Party. Ada James' father, State Senator David G. James, introduced the suffrage bill which led to the resultant state referendum. The pen (1953.1788) is located in the Wisconsin Historical Museum's collections.
