Neighbors work together in the final process of sawing firewood, as they saw poles into blocks. The man with the plaid shirt and suspenders is the owner of the portable circular saw, which he shares. The horses that hauled the wood are blanketed and tied to the fence on the left to keep them from becoming startled and possibly injuring a worker. A child and dog look on from the foreground. |
