H.D. Brainard Home at Lone Rock
A bed and wooden chest stand in the master bedroom of the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Brainard. The home was the former 1878 "old Don Johnson farm" in Bear Valley, which the Brainard's purchased after the last member of the Johnson family died and willed the farm to the Salvation Army. Fifty-year old wallpaper featuring pinky rose flowers on a cream background and a rose painted ceiling provide the color theme for the room. |
