Built in the early 1920s, the station, with its tower, low rooflines, and decorative half-timbering, complemented the designs of the other resort buildings including the small, individual cottages.

Built in 1922, Nippersink Manor, located at N1055 Tombeau Road, was intended to cater to those from Chicago seeking summertime recreation and healthful vacations.

Manawa Service Station
2008
This service station, located at 301 South Bridge Street, was built in Manawa during the late 1930s as new, more efficient station designs were constructed throughout the state.
Stoddard Service Station
2008
In 1933, Lester Proksch constructed this striking filling station in the small river town, at 201 North Main Street. Less's Service was opened in July of 1933.
Marinette Service Station
2008
Built in about 1933, this appealingly picturesque service station, located at 1305 Pierce Avenue, was designed to blend into the neighborhood.
Waupaca Service Station
2008
Gray Czeskleba ran a hardware store at 206 West Fulton Street in Waupaca before turning exclusively to gasoline and oil distribution in 1925.
