Interior view of the Elroy Public Library. The library opened in 1908 and was funded by Andrew Carnegie with $10,000. On the lower right the cardboard backing is stamped: "Fisk, Elroy, Wis." A man is seated at one of the reading table, and next to the reading tables are spittoons. There is a fireplace on the back wall, and on other walls are a map of Wisconsin and a Citizen Bank Calendar for January 1911. |
