IH Display at German Agricultural Society Exhibition
Display area of International Harvester's Neuss branch house at the Exhibition of the German Agricultural Society, Cologne, Germany, (May 27-June 1). Equipment and tractors are on display, with a path leading to a tent. There is a clock tower made out of twine in front of the tent. Smokestacks, signs, and a tall building are in the background. The translation of the sign on the roof is: "Telegram from Chicago: On the 13th of May the 600,000th I.H.C. tractor came off of the endless chain [assembly line?]," and the sign hanging from the roof says: "Good Equipment Makes a Good Farmer Better." |
