Page 26 of 70. Prophecy on page 25 reads, "I was not surprised to find Emma Strand a famous Prima Donna whose rich contralto voice floods music halls all over the world with exquisite melody. We are all acquainted with her beautiful voice and we feel sure that her great fame will be deservedly won. The prophet tells me that princes and kings are her devoted admirers, but she goes on her way singing as sweetly for the poor and humble as she does for the rich and noble." Emma Helen Strand married Julius C. Rockman in 1909. At the time of the class reunion in 1955, she lived in Barron, Wisconsin. Information about Emma Helen Strand has been researched through contemporary newspaper articles.
