ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Page 12 of 70. Prophecy on page 11 reads, "Her talent is well supported by the exquisite music of the orchestra, which is directed by Lambert Clark the greatest violinist of the times. The last place they starred was at Banzyville, Africa, where the proceeds were three hundred million Ugs, which is equivalent to thirty cents in American money. Mr. Clark has been married several times." Lambert Clark had no chance to live up to the promising future laid out in his prophecy. He started his musical career in the Ludington Guard Band and the Memorial orchestra in Menomonie. His leap from the town's Mabel Tainter Memorial Theatre, where this photograph was taken, to the world's great stages was prevented by a slight attack of indigestion. The seeminly harmless pain developed into a rupture of the bile duct and peritonitis, and within two weeks, Lambert Clark lay six feet under at Evergreen Cemetery, Menomonie. He was twenty years old. Information about Lambert Clark has been researched through his obituary.
