Steam Fire Engine with Three Horses

A steam fire engine of Milwaukee's Fire Company #2 drawn by three white horses racing to a fire. Prior motor driven fire equipment was a greater danger than it was during the twentieth century. Even with the best horses and equipment, fire fighters often arrived too late to save a burning building. |
