International Model 63 Oil Company Trucks
International Model 63 trucks parked on a dirt street. According to the original caption, the trucks were owned by C. Whitie Parsons, of Borger, Texas. The truck on the left carried a 90 h.p. boiler on its way to the oil fields at Earlsboro from Borger--a distance of 337 miles. The driver of this truck was A.A. Sherrick of Borger. The second truck, on the right, is loaded with "double engine less base" and oil drilling tools. The net weight of the boiler was 19,560 pounds. The net weight of the engine and drilling tools was 20,000 pounds. |
