McCarthy and an Admirer

Senator Joseph R. McCarthy of Wisconsin greets his nephew, Kelly Kornely, at a Republican campaign event in Wisconsin. Also with McCarthy is Assemblyman Gerald Lorge. Lorge was elected to the Legislature in 1950 while still a college student. As a representative of Outagamie County (the home of Senator McCarthy), he was also a strong supporter of the Senator. Lorge served in the state senate from 1954 to 1984. |
