Theodore Haspell Receiving Four Gold Stars
Lieut. Theordore Haspell is shown receiving four gold stars from Capt. J.E. Hurff, University of Wisconsin professor of naval science and tactics. The stars were awarded for meritorious acts during 15 flights in a navy patrol bomber over Japanese-held territory in 1945. Seated from left: Mrs. Ted Wilson, Mrs. Walter Haspell, and Mrs. H.L.
