| Ed Gein lived a solitary life on his family homestead with his brother and domineering mother who instilled in him a belief that sex was a sin. Gein became a grave robber and was suspected of killing several women. In 1957 he was arrested and the news of his crimes was made public with stories in Life and Time magazines.
